Who We Are
In collaboration with Galt Resources Strategy Group, Bridges & Foundations Municipal Development Initiatives division offers programs and policy development to improve skills development in local government and municipally controlled public entities. This includes board governance at Utilities and Fire Departments with Paramedics and First Responders.
Together through continuous improvement, local governments and their agencies can build economies of scale and build value for their ratepayers. Achieving efficiencies and critical mass can lead to new economic development opportunities, building healthy and sustainable communities.
How Do We Accomplish This?
Through collaborative partnerships, gap analysis and tailored program development we offer certainty in policy and bylaws, best practices for governance and compliance and effective management and training at the staff and Board levels.

Our Mission & Vision
Bridges & Foundations Municipal Development Programs helps reduce conflicts at board, council and commission meetings. Good governance brings clarity to staff, Council and Board and stakeholder relations. Through improvements in governance and compliance with policies, bylaws and legistation. Municipalities and their departments and agencies are unencumbered by issues of conflict and able to fopus on delivering the services that ratepayers are entitled to. The strategy for success is based on building effective skills for councillors, directors, and commissioners and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the municipal organizational structure
